The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 10,088.14 points, up 38.10 points, or 0.38 percent.
The Hang Seng Index opened at 17,956.83 points, up 292.10 points, or 1.65 percent.
The S&P/ASX 200 index opened at 7,080.30 points, up 39.70 points, or 0.56 percent.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average opened at 31,847.10 points, up 100.57 points, or 0.32 percent.
The Straits Times Index opened at 3,213.43 points, up 14.36 points, or 0.45 percent.
